A 10 MHz Decimal Counter with Logic Gates,

Abstract

In connection with the work on the analog-to-digital converter which is a subunit of the multi-dimensional analysis unit built at the Electronics Institute of the Nuclear Research Institute, a need arose for designing a fast decimal counter. Decimal counters of this type became components of two decimal registers of the analog-to-digital converter operating with an internal quartz generator with a frequency of 8 MHz. This report describes the construction and operation of a fast decimal counter composed of four bistables and AND gates, operating with the 1-2-4-8 code. (Author)
