Abstract

The volume presents a discussion of alternative developments involving nationalism and the nation-states, regional institutions, major problems such as tendencies toward unity and disunity within Western Europe, and British relations with the region, all during the time frame 1970-1985. In addition, the first author has discussed the international and all-European enviroments that may be expected to influence developments within Western Europe itself. (Author)
