Trends in Western European Political, Economic, and Defense Policies, 1970-1985, and Implications for United States Security and Strategy. Volume V. Likely External Political/Economic/Defense Relations of Western Europe, 1970-1985.

Abstract

The volume embraces a study of Western Europe's likely relations with other world regions in political, economic, and defense matters during the period to 1985, as well as alternative political/military postures of the region by the end of that timeframe, in terms of relative unity and disunity. The likely state of relations with these major regions, and political/military trends within Western Europe, as viewed by the individual authors, are then weighed for probable impact upon the United States by 1985.
