Airborne UHF Telemetry Package -- AGILE Test Pod.

Abstract

The report describes the PAM/FM/FM telemetry instrumentation for the AGILE test pod, developed as a test bed for the EO seeker evaluation. The primary objective of the telemetry (TM) package is to telemeter helmet mounted sight (HMS), video, and seeker information via an RF link to a ground telemetry station. The TM functions are shown on a PAM wavetrain. This is the first time that man, aircraft, helmet mounted sight, and seeker have been integrated into an operational system. The primary purpose is to evaluate the total system capability in target acquisition, lock-on, and tracking in a simulated tactical environment. The captive pod has potential for use in later training programs. (Author)
