Analysis of the A-4 Aircraft Structure.
Abstract
The report describes an analysis of the fuselage and wing structures surrounding the A-4 aircraft fuel system. Probabilities of projectiles striking various combinations of structural members after entering the skin of the A-4 aircraft at various angles have been computed and are presented graphically. Locations and some characteristics of the electrical system are documented as possible secondary ignition sources for fuel. (Author)
