Systems Research for Radar, ECM and Communications Systems.
Abstract
The objective of the effort is to define 'where' the Navy is going in electronic systems development and 'how' to get there, i.e., what is realizable as a future system and what supporting research is needed to implement this realization. It is anticipated the systems research herein will lead to the possible future realization of sophisticated systems being simple in nature and reliably performing numerous electronic functions in an automatic fashion. The work accomplished during the report period included the following: Review of systems theory; Mathematics of feedback systems; State variable mathematics; Nonlinear systems.
