Life-Cycle Test of the Rotary Retraction Engine and Associated Equipment on the TC13 MOD 1 Catapult.
Abstract
The report covers the reliability and maintainability aspects of the rotary retraction engine and associated equipment during the development period of 18 May 1968 through 1 September 1971, and tabulates all component failures in order to anticipate the problems the Fleet may have with the new equipment. Improvement on a few components would greatly increase the reliability and maintainability indexes of the system. (Author)
