Development of Package Decontaminating System

Abstract

Progress is reported in development of an improved decontaminant for persistent chemical agents. The improved decontaminant may be a few formulation or a modification of the current operational decontaminant DS2. Work this quarter included the identification of function of each component in a DS2-agent decontamination reaction. Potential clathrating agents were investigated in DS2- type formulations.
