Abstract
This Specification establishes the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of a Data Link Maintenance Shop, Shelter Mounted, CI Number 343N834. The CI described herein is an air transportable and ground mobile shelter. The shelter is used for maintenance and supply functions. The shelter shall be operable within an external temperature range of -30 F to +125 F, withstand a storage envirionment of -60 F to +160 F for 48 hours, withstand wind loads of 109 knots with shelter guyed (87 knots with shelter unguyed) and withstand ice loads equivalent to 2 inches of glazed ice. The calculated maximum weight of the shelter with payload and transporter shall be 9700 pounds when the shelter is configured for transport.
