Prime Item Fabrication Specification for Data Link Interpretation, Shelter Mounted ES-97A.

Abstract

This specification establishes the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of a data link interpretation, shelter mounted, CI number 343N833. The CI described herein is an air transportable and ground mobile shelter. The shelter is used to house equipment and personnel required to edit and evaluate the high resolution and moving target imagery developed by the side looking radar (SLR). The shelter shall be operable within an external temperature range of -30 F to +125 F, withstand a storage environment of -60 F to 160 F, withstand wind loads of 109 knots with shelter guyed (87 knots with shelter unguyed), and withstand ice loads equivalent to 2 inches of glazed ice. The calculated maximum weight of the shelter with payload and transporter shall be 8240 pounds when the shelter is configured for transport.
