Infrared Target Source.

Abstract

Design and development of an Infrared Target Source to test and evaluate FLIR systems for dynamic range, noise equivalent temperature (NET), modulation transfer function (MTF), and minimum resolvable temperature (MRT) has been accomplished. The significance of this effort is the development of a portable test set which can be used to check-out and evaluate a FLIR system in either laboratory or field environments. (Author)
