An analysis of Command TCTO Backlog Control Programs.

Abstract

Methods need to be identified by which the backlog of TCTO's outstanding on aircraft weapon systems can be better managed and reduced. This study identifies those elements which major command maintenance directors felt were most essential to command TCTO backlog control programs. The major elements of those commands programs were also evaluated. The various command programs were then rank ordered. TCTO accomplishment rates were also calculated for those same commands and rank ordered. Statistical tests were applied to determine whether a positive correlation existed between the rank values of the programs and accomplishment rates. (Author)
