Segmented Nd Glass Laser.
Abstract
The report describes the experiments performed on an improved Brewster disc laser. This device was successfully operated at high average powers as an amplifier and oscillator. The results were compared with the performance of comparable solid rods made from the same laser glass as the discs. (Author)
