Desk Top Calculator Programs Used for Diurnal Phase Variation Study.

Abstract

This technical note provides detailed calculation procedures used in Diurnal Phase Variation at 10.2 kHz. Desk top calculator programs are presented. A brief discussion, preceding each program, is used to derive equations and explain the treatment of data. Three of the twelve topics discussed are not represented by specialized programs. They are included to show details of the experimental procedures. The program used to implement the Fresnel zone approach to coupling distance is documented elsewhere. It is not discussed here. No attempt was made to optimize a program which was found to do the job. (Author)
