Digital Generation of Targets, Ship's Motion, and System Noise. Volume I.

Abstract

The report describes a software support package that generates realistic target scenarios and ship parameters for real-time simulation of naval shipboard fire-control systems. New techniques were developed and mathematical derivations were presented. The real-time simulation procedures - programmed and exercised - can be modified for use on other digital computers to simulate other fire-control systems. (Author)
