Natascope Mask.

Abstract

An evaluation was made to check certain characteristics of the Natascope diving mask for open-circuit scuba, and to determine its advantages and disadvantages in comparison with the BuShips Universal Mask. The report describes the mask in detail. The mask was tested objectively by breathing machine depth runs with respiratory pressure instrumentation, and subjectively by swimming runs with open-circuit scuba. Breathing machine test results are summarized as graphs of peak respiratory pressures against depth. Subjective test results are summarized narratively. (Author)
