Johnson Service Company Modified Portable Air Compressor.

Abstract

A 600-hour endurance run with 48-hour measurements indicated satisfactory endurance and maintenance characteristics for the unit. Two tank dives, to 60 and 80 feet, showed the unit to be adequate for one man to 60 feet; in addition, two river dives showed the unit to be adequate for field conditions. For any given discharge pressure, no major volumetric efficiency change occurred during the run.
