Electromagnetic Field Probes.

Abstract

The report summarizes activities during the first quarter of a program directed to the development of probes and techniques for measurement of electromagnetic radiation in shielded enclosures over the 20 to 200 MHz frequency range. Studies were made of test configurations and 'typical' enclosure parameters which limit the capability for making valid measurements in this frequency region. Enclosure resonances, wall coupling effects, absorbing materials, probe designs, and near field effects were identified as contributing factors which require additional investigation. (Author)
