Chemical Laser Facility Study. Volume I. Facility Design Criteria.

Abstract

The requirements and design criteria for the development of an architectural and engineering (A and E) design are presented for a Chemical Laser Test Facility at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The scope of the A and E design project is limited to the site preparation, buildings, real property installed equipment and utilities. A Work Breakdown Structure is presented for each major element of the facility. This document is Volume I of a three-volume final report covering the overall study conducted for the Air Force Weapons Laboratory to define the total cost and to specify design criteria for a Chemical Laser Test Facility.. The design requirements for the Laser Test System are presented in Volume II and the cost analysis for the site development and the test system is presented in Volume II. (Author)
