Anti-Oscillation Mount for Binoculars

Abstract

Description is given of development of antioscillation mounts for standard binoculars intended for use by observers in aircraft and lookouts on ships. Laboratory tests indicate that mounts eliminate approximately 95 percent of the impressed vibration. Preliminary field tests showed that approximately 90 percent of vibration was eliminated.
