Regularity of Turbulent Flow in Smooth Pipes

Abstract

The objective of this work was to investigate the regularities of the turbulent flow in smooth tubes over the largest possible range of Reynolds' Numbers. For this purpose an experimental set up was constructed which made it possible for us to obtain turbulent flow of water in circular tubes up to a Reynolds' Number of 3240 x 1000.
