C/MOS Analog-to-Digital Converter.
Abstract
This report describes the development of a low power monolithic C/MOS Analog-to-Digital Converter based on a concept which eliminated precision ladder networks. The program was carried out under two contracts, AFSC No. F33615-69-C-1512, in which the design concepts were breadboarded and verified, first using discrete devices and then monolithic test chips incorporating the various circuit elements, and continued under AF33615-70-C-1494, in which improvements were made in the test chips and a single, monolithic A/D converter chip designed and fabricated. Test data on the final C/MOS array is presented in this report.
