Reaction Engine Module Test Evaluation.

Abstract

A program was conducted to evaluate a four-engine module developed by the Rocket Research Corporation. Two of the four engines were operated simultaneously using appropriate duty cycles to maintain a predetermined throat temperature versus time profile. All testing was conducted under simulated altitude conditions on a 24-hour-a-day, 5-day-per-week basis. A total of 86,000 firings, 8000 lbf-sec total impulse, and 250 seconds of steady-state operation were accumulated on each engine.
