Failure Recurrence Control Plan for Sparrow III AIM-7F-4 Guidance and Control Section.

Abstract

The AIM-7F Failure Recurrence Control Plan provides a formalized, documented system for the collection, reduction and analysis of all factory test failure information. This data is used as the schedule and priority-setting criteria for the performance of failure analysis, analysis reporting, corrective action assignment and follow-up. The status and results of the failure analysis, cause of isolation corrective action assignment and corrective action monitoring and closeout are documented in both internal and customer-specified deliverable reports. The Failure Recurrence Control Plan provides coverage through all phases of AIM-7F hardware processing from receipt of purchased materials through final acceptance testing. The primary objective of this plan is to assure that effective corrective actions are taken on a timely basis to preclude repetitive failures and assure the maintenance of the AIM-7F Guidance and Control reliability.
