WEAPON SYSTEM EFFECTIVENESS ANALYSIS, OPTIMIZATION AND SIMULATION - PHASE I. VOLUME IV. FORMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF WARHEAD KILL PROBABILITIES.

Abstract

The results of an effort conducted on a class of problems arising in the evaluation of weapons and in the analysis of the best methods for their use are reported. The methods developed for the analytical evaluation of average kill probabilities for single weapons, and the statistical test of a hypothesis to compare the analytical methods to numerical methods are described.
