Premature Simulator for Projectile Explosives.

Abstract

The design of a prototype of the Impact Premature Simulator is described, and the results of development and calibration tests conducted using the simulator are presented. Also presented are new methods of measuring pressure applied to and produced in explosive charges. Concepts for a premature simulator having a capability for testing charges of two pounds to six kbar are discussed. (Author)
