Airborne Engine Condition Analysis Instrumentation (AECAI).

Abstract

The effort described in this report was directed at the conceptual and functional definition of an exploratory model of an airborne engine condition analysis instrumentation (AECAI) system. An earlier effort provided preliminary definition of basic functional requirements for AECAI in terms of monitoring objectives and techniques. Implementation was the primary consideration of the presently concluded effort. The results include the functional and preliminary design of available approach suitable as a vehicle for further engineering development, and a preliminary specification suitable as the basis for a system for engine test cell exploratory application.
