A plan is presented for the technical evaluation of the Improved 5-in./54 Projectile. The schedule is based on completing certain high priority safety, structural, environmental, fragmentation, and rapid fire tests prior to recommending a Release to Production to the Naval Weapons Laboratory Design Review Committee on 1 April 1973.
