Handbook for Electronic Systems of Marine Corps Airborne Radio Relay.

Abstract

A basic handbook on the electronic portion of an airborne relay is provided. The handbook indicates the potential resources and capabilities that are available, the technological limitations involved in the electronic systems, and the possible tradeoffs. It is to be used in conjunction with the results of an airborne platform study being done by the Naval Air Development Center. The type of airborne relay that can be constructed using present off-the-shelf equipments and little or no research and development is indicated. Areas where further work is needed to bring present technology in line with potential resources and capabilities are identified. (Author)
