Weapon System Effectiveness Analysis, Optimization and Simulation-Phase I. Volume III. Development of a Human Operator Model for a Tracking Task.

Abstract

A computer simulation of the tracking of a high performance, low flying aircraft with a typical Soviet AAA gun has been achieved. The program includes a model of a human operator that was developed for this particular task and utilizes both feed-back and feed-forward modes. Optimum values for the parameters of the human operator model were found to be highly dependent upon aircraft course. (Author)
