J. H. Emerson Company Air Saver.
Abstract
This report covers evaluation of the Air Saver for use in the Naval service. The evaluation was conducted against standard procedures for open-circuit apparatus, with slight modifications to determine the actual performance of the gas-saver demand regulator. The demand regulator was found to have good inhalation characteristics. The gas saver was found to save gas mechanically but was not proved to save gas physiologically.
