Analysis of Very-High-Order Frequency Components of the Intermodulation Interference Spectrum.

Abstract

An improved method of analysis makes possible the prediction of intermodulation frequencies by computing the greatest common factor of the transmitter frequencies. A technique for graphical representation of the intermodulation spectrum is presented, together with a preliminary indication of how to apply the analysis to cases involving more than two transmitters. Rules for the design of a shipboard test to unambiguously measure very-high-order intermodulation products between two transmitter frequencies are stated. (Author)
