Transport of Bolstered Special Weapons on the MHU-12/M Trailer.

Abstract

Tiedown patterns for ground transport of bolstered B57 and B61 weapons, single and double stacked, on the MHU-12/M trailer were designed and tested. Testing of the tiepoints on the deck of the MHU-12/M trailer for adequate strength and optimum orientation was included. The developed tiedown patterns, test procedure, test data, and notations of test observations are presented. (Author)
