Abstract
This semiannual FY73 report of the University of Airzona Optical Sciences Center presents the results of work and statements of research and academic direction in program areas supported entirely or in part by USAF Contract FO-4695-67-C-0197. Other activities being carried on at the same time are also described. Specifically covered or referenced are automatic pattern recognition, digital restoring methods, geometrical optics, image evaluation, mathematical optics, optical design, optical fabrication, solid state optics, and structural analysis.
