Abstract
This 1st Quarter FY73 status report of the University of Arizona Optical Sciences Center presents the results of work and statements of research and academic direction in program areas supported entirely or in part by USAF Contract FO-4695-67-C-0197. Other activities being carried on at the same time are also described. Specifically covered or referenced are automatic pattern recognition, digital restoring methods, electro-optical devices, geometrical optics, image processing, infrared research, mathematical optics, nonlinear optics, psychophysical experimentation, quantum optics, and structural mechanics.
