Results of Magentic Particle Inspection Detection Capability NDT Demonstration Program.

Abstract

The results of this demonstration by Production personnel using NR/LAD established magnetic particle inspection procedures verifies the detection of Group 2 level (.076-.100-in. flaw length; 02-.05-in. flaw depth) and larger flaws to the 90% probability and 95% confidence level.
