Evaluation of the Kirby-Morgan M-11 Mask.
Abstract
The Kirby-Morgan M-11 full face mask was evaluated for its suitability for use with semi-closed and closed circuit UBA's. The mask was tested with MK 10 and MK 11 UBA's in a swimming pool, on two 180 foot/30 minute bounce dives, and on one 650 foot saturation dive. No water leakage into the mask was observed, and the basic hydro-seal concept used with the mask was judged sound. Gas leakage out of the mask, however, occurred.
