Thermoelectric Thermopile Transducer (T3) Development.

Abstract

The present stage of theoretical and experimental study relating the application of the 'Anomalous Thermoelectric Effect' to the measurement of high stress is presented. In this connection, the theories are discussed with the result that there is no known physical reason for the gage itself to behave in a nonanalog manner. However, the deviations from this analog behavior in the experimental data are interpreted on the basis of an electrical interaction between the gage elements and their encapsulating matrix.
