An Analytical Technique for Calculation of Radiation from Jet Engine Exhausts (RIP).

Abstract

This report defines the background, use and composition of the RIP computer program for use on the GE635. RIP solves the problem of infrared radiation emission and absorption for the plume of a jet engine exhaust. The program internally computes plume absorption characteristics as well as the plume flow field. (Author)
