Efficiency Study of Electrically Short High-Frequency Antennas.
Abstract
The requirements for high-frequency communication systems are becoming more stringent especially for small aircraft such as the F-14 and S-3. To optimize the transmitter power budget, the relative efficiency of various antenna configurations including the coupling circuits required to match the antenna to the transmitter has been compared in this analytic and experimental study.
