The Shock Wave Transmission in Beam Structures,
Abstract
The transmission of shock in beam structures was analyzed by approximation in terms of energy transmission, and the approximate solutions were verified by experiment. Approximate solutions were calculated for a beam of indefinite length for which the exact solutions were known, and the results were compared with exact solutions.
