Preliminary Drawings and Layouts Variable Camber Wing - Phase I.

Abstract

The document presents preliminary drawings and layouts of an advanced technology wing with variable camber leading and trailing edge systems for an F-8 flight demonstrator airplane. Short descriptions accompany drawings of the wing structural arrangement, four leading edge variable camber concepts, and a trailing edge variable camber concept. In addition, the wing control surface actuation system arrangement is shown with a schematic of the hydraulic system. (Author)
