Exploratory Development of High Temperature Resins for Structural Adhesives and Laminates.

Abstract

A 'second generation' polybenzimidazoquinazoline, PIQ, polymer is developed. The resin is obtained from the reaction of a tetramine with a triazine based trifunctional ester and a difunctional biphenyl based ester in a molar ratio of 1 to 6. Resultant physical properties are also reported. (A. di. M.-PL)
