Another Linear Programming Approach to USAF Conventional Weapons Planning.

Abstract

Complex and involved problems are encountered during the planning and procurement of weapons for use in conventional warfare contingencies. The application of operations research techniques as tools may assist the decision maker in solving these problems, thus leading to a cohesive and logical development, production, and procurement plan. Linear programming, value techniques, and excursions and applications in the area of tactical strategy are some of the techniques and problems that are brought into the decision maker's judgement area.
