Advanced Acoustic Sensor System for Airborne ASW.

Abstract

This document presents a system level description, including installation in the ASW airplane, and a discussion of user software provided by the computer manufacturer. The hardware units which make up the system(i.e., the central processing system, auxiliary storage, display systems, and signal conditioning systems are described in detail. The development of the major software components for the acoustic processing system is discussed along with the development goals and areas of emphasis. (Author)
