Abstract
The Development Test II (Service Phase) of Night Vision Sight, Crew Served Weapons, AN/TVS-5 (Second Generation), was conducted by the US Army INfantry Board, Fort Benning, GA, from February 1974 to August 1974. Testing was conducted to determine the physical and operational characteristics of the AN/TVS-5 sight, to confirm the safety, and to determine the reliability and functioning capability of the AN/TVS-5 sight under prevailing temperate climatic conditions. Test soliders were from TOE units and were supervised by personnel of the Infantry Board.
