2014 TMS RF Mehl Medal Symposium on Frontiers in Nanostructured Electronic and Structural Materials and Their Application

Abstract

With the funding support from ARO ($6000), we have successfully hosted the international symposium on advances in Nanostructured Materials and Applications at the TMS 2014 spring meeting. The symposium has attracted more than 100 abstracts (both oral and poster presentations) which made the symposium as one of the most popular symposium at the TMS 2014 meeting. The symposium funding support has been allocated to support the Best Poster Awards ($2000), partial registration support for invited speakers ($3000) and a partial time and effort support for Dr. Wang ($1000). ARO funding support was acknowledged throughout the symposium sessions and in the symposium booklet (see attached symposium program booklet).
