Naval Personnel Can Improve Compliance With the Berry Amendment and the Buy American Act

Abstract

Our audit objective was to determine whether Naval personnel complied with the Berry Amendment and the Buy American Act when they purchased covered items such as food, clothing, tents, textiles, and hand or measuring tools. This report is the second in a series of reports on DoD contracting personnels compliance with the Berry Amendment and Buy American Act. See Appendix A for t he scope and methodology and prior coverage related to the objective.
