Soft Soil Mobility

Abstract

This TOP describes generally accepted methods used to measure, analyze, and report the severity/condition of test environments and performance tests of traction and floatation of wheeled and tracked vehicles operating in low soil strength conditions. Data required to support the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Reference Mobility Model (NRMM) are also presented and defined.
