AGOR 28: SIO Shipyard Representative Bi-Weekly Progress Report

Abstract

RV Sally Ride (AGOR-28) is a commercially designed, monohull research vessel, capable of both coastal and deep ocean operations, being built for the United States Navy for operation by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO). This report updates ship construction/ship trial status. Crew familiarization has begun with 18 SIO participants.
